We're Getting Married!

Craig and Marilyn first met at a high school football game back in 2007. Marilyn was practicing her toe touches for cheer with her girlfriend until Craig noticed Marilyn and came over. He tried the whole night to make her laugh and never failed once. Before you knew it, they became inseparable. He would not miss spending his time in between classes to visit her at her locker. They loved being each other's first love. College eventually came and the two parted their ways and slowly drifted apart. After a few heartbreaks and learning about their individual selves, they found their way back to each other. What they had as high school sweethearts was rare and real. They realized that they were each other's person. They knew God's plan for their lives was to be with each other.

Craig knew Marilyn wanted to have her career in place before they went forward with their relationship. He knew that her career was important to her. Therefore, when she graduated from her internship in Medical Lab Science in July of 2019, he knew he had the green light to pop the question. Marilyn planned a vacation for the two of them to go to Cancun, Mexico after an intense year of studies. He knew her love for the beach, palm trees, and the sun. He decided that this would be the perfect opportunity. With the help of a personal butler that came with their all inclusive package, he was able to keep it a surprise while making it a vacation to remember. She had no idea he had a ring in his backpack carry-on and had snuck it into their room's safe! When he got down on one knee everything became a blur! However, this is what stuck: "You were my first love and first kiss, and I will make sure you are my only love and last kiss". It was definitely a vacation to hold dear to their hearts.
