Summer light fills our hearts with endless possibility. Before the moon rises over the island, we invite you to celebrate love on the longest day of the year; the Summer Solstice. Come to our island of adventure where we encourage you to sit on the dock, gaze at the moon and tell her your stories. But first let us share ours, for after Gstaad, this is one of the places we fell in love. For Tristan, the allure of Captain Marika at the helm, hair and skin whipped with salt after early morning swims, and opening her childhood home to share the magic of the island with those she loves. For Marika, finding the one cheese her man embraces, year round! Be it dark and stormy, with the wind howling, or the sea smooth as glass- this island is not for the faint of heart. “Det fins ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlig klær” as Norwegians like to say: “No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!” So come READY after the church: leave your heels behind, bundle up and be prepared to jump on a boat, walk up a dirt path, through the forest past the Wes Anderson-esque homes and our hut to the dock: to dance the night away in ALL weather (as low as 8 and up to 25°C) to DJ Henrik’s late night beats until the sun returns at our Solstice party on Cheese Island – last carriages (boats) at 4 am.
