Can we bring our children?

Answer

While we love the company of your children we ask that you not bring them as this is an adults only celebration.

What will the venue be like?

Answer

The venue is at the Whitlatch residence and therefore will be outdoors on the lawn. There is also an area of sand where the bar is located. It is recommended that women wear wedges or block heels for comfort. The ceremony will be outdoors in the neighboring property, cocktail hour will be in the front yard and the reception will be in the backyard under a tent. If there is inclement weather all events will be held under the tent.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking two houses down from the Whitlatch residence. The address for parking is 612 York Point Road. However, because parking is limited, it is suggested that you uber or use the provided bus transportation from the hotel.

Is transportation provided from the hotel to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there are two buses that will be leaving the hotel at 4:00pm. The buses will also be returning people back to the hotel at different times. The hotel is the Marriott at 740 Town Center Drive, Newport News, Va.
