Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP here by May 5th

Question

Is there a ceremony?

Answer

Joshua and Marika will be married in an intimate ceremony with immediate family on May 1st, 2024. Though there will not be a ceremony held on June 22nd, we are very excited to open our home to celebrate with our close friends and family! Nothing fancy to see here, just an invitation to eat, drink, and be merry with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the party?

Answer

The revelries will begin at 4pm!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The Salvation Army (290 W Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014) across from our home has graciously offered their lot for parking. Please be mindful of their property and others who are parked in the lot. They are across the street (Lincoln Pkwy) from our red farmhouse. If you are coming down Crystal Lake Avenue, you can see the Salvation Army sign from the street. If you are coming from 176 and turn down Lincoln Parkway, you will pass our home, make a left onto Crystal Lake Avenue, and make a left into the Salvation Army parking lot.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We invite you to wear your garden best! The weather should be reasonably warm and the party will take place in the yard. Sundresses and florals, fun colors, lighter button-up shirts, khakis or light slacks, and comfortable shoes you can traverse grass and (preferably) dance in. Jackets and ties are optional. Please avoid jeans and shorts. Flowers in hair encouraged. Be prepared for bonfires, dancing, and being merry!

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

Tacomotora will be catering our event with a taco truck 5-7pm! Their menu includes five different taco options, two different sides including cilantro-lime rice and pinto beans, chips + salsa, and churros! Delectable desserts will be served from our local favorite Cheschire Cakes. Lastly, s'mores will be served around the bonfire.

Question

Our self-service bar will include water, lavender lemonade (nonalcoholic), vodka lemonade (alcoholic), vodka + redbull, Truly, various sodas, wine + champagne as well.
