Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to share our special day with you. We’ve created this website as a way to share all the details needed to help us celebrate our wedding day.

The story begins booking a last minute getaway to Lake Placid New York. Knowing Marika’s busy schedule with work, they had a couple days to spare and take a spontaneous outing for the evening. Getting there early was all part of Brett’s master plan, and to Marika’s surprise, we were going on a hike (probably the last thing she wanted to do). Up the mountain we went and enjoyed our hard earned view, and while Marika was enjoying the scenery, Brett snuck down on one knee, and as Marika had turned back, the look of surprise on her face is something I can never forget. After happily saying yes, we were so excited, we had our date picked before we got to the bottom of the hill. We can’t wait for this exciting day and to spend it with all our family and friends.
