Parking
Despite our best efforts to choose the perfect date, our wedding falls on the same weekend as “Celebrate! West Hartford”—a large carnival and street fair that draws around 40,000 people to the area and takes place just 50 yards from the Delamar Hotel (oops!). We’ve been told the event wraps up by 6:00 PM and starts winding down earlier, so parking should still be manageable. That said, we recommend the following: - Guests staying at the Delamar: Simply pull up to the hotel—valet parking is complimentary for hotel guests. - Guests staying elsewhere: We suggest taking an Uber or Lyft directly to the Delamar to avoid parking headaches. - Guests driving in: The Delamar does not have any parking for non-hotel guests. The best parking options nearby are Memorial Garage (75 Memorial Road) and Isham Garage (77 Isham Road), both about a 5-minute walk (0.2 miles) from the Delamar. Another alternative is Town Center Garage (29 South Main Street). Our ceremony begins at 5:15 PM, so please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking and walking.
