Masha came to Norway from Ukraine in March 2022. In April she got a job where she met Markus. At first they were just colleagues. Than they started spending more time together and got to know each other better as friends. By autumn, this friendship had turned into dating. In February, Markus invited Masha to his father’s birthday to meet the whole family. From that moment, things started to become serious. That summer Markus met Masha’s family. They also went on their first trip together to Italy. In January 2024 they moved in together, and in November the same year they bought their first apartment. On the evening of March 18, 2025, in that new apartment, Markus got down on one knee and proposed with his grandmother’s ring. She said yes.
