Kristopher is Mike’s 10-year-old son. Kris loves spending time with Mike, Marietta, and Emilia. He especially loves family game nights (Monopoly is a recent favorite) and playing catch with his dad!
Kelly Staples
Matron of Honor
Kelly is Marietta's older sister. Marietta was Maid of Honor in Kelly's wedding and has enjoyed many years of loving on Kelly's three kids, Ava, Deacon, and Leila, as "Auntie Mimi." Together they enjoy attending concerts, traveling, especially to New York most Decembers, and finding new, fun restaurants to try out.

Kelly is Mike’s older sister. They both share an interest in golf and Kelly is the best auntie to Kristopher and Emilia!
Ashley Goette
Matron of Honor
Ashley is Marietta's younger sister. Marietta was Matron of Honor in Ashley's wedding and absolutely adores Ashley's two young boys, Lennon and Crosby. You can find them having play dates, shopping, or lounging in the pool together in the summer.
Kevin Peters
Groomsman
Kevin is Mike’s friend of 46 years. They grew up across the street from each other and played together all the time. In junior high and high school, they played football together. In 2002, Kevin joined Mike at work at Minnesota Glove and Safety and they’ve been working in the same industry ever since. Mike was a groomsman in Kevin’s wedding and Mike and Kevin and their families still get together often.
Maggie Zalak
Bridesmaid
Marietta met Maggie when she moved to New York after college in 2004. They worked together at an autism clinic and quickly became best friends. Marietta moved back to Minnesota in 2007 but has stayed close with Maggie throughout all that time through phone calls on their morning drives and visits to New York during Christmastime. Marietta was a bridesmaid in Maggie's wedding and when they get together, it is as if no time has passed at all.
Steve Iverson
Groomsman
Steve is Mike’s friend of 36 years. Mike met Steve (and Kelly and Kris Staples) in junior high band when they were 12 years old. Mike played football and golf with Steve in junior high and high school. Steve went on to work with Mike at Ziggy’s, a deli in Mendota Heights frequented by all our friends and families while we were in high school and beyond. Mike and Steve were roommates for years as well (along with Tom) and they still enjoy catching up at Steve’s bar, Tapper’s, or by playing a round of golf.
Missy Preiner
Bridesmaid
Marietta met Missy in 7th grade in Mr. Nelson's science class and they've been friends ever since! Over the years, they've enjoyed traveling together (Las Vegas, Mexico, NYC) and Marietta was a bridesmaid in Missy's wedding. Their favorite pastime recently is meeting up with girlfriends and drinking margaritas!
Tom Kurvers
Groomsman
Tom (aka “Doc”) is Mike’s childhood friend. They met in junior high and played on the baseball and golf team together. Mike and Tom (and Steve) were roommates for many years. They often had parties at their house and Marietta and her friends had even hung out there in their 20s. These days, Mike and Tom can usually be found on the golf course in the summer.
Natalie Hunter
Bridesmaid
Marietta met Natalie in 3rd grade in Mr. Burke's class! They were friends all through elementary school, junior high, high school and beyond! Marietta was a bridesmaid in Natalie's wedding and together with other girlfriends they enjoy meeting up for dinners to stay caught up on each other's busy lives!
Kris Staples

Mike and Kris met when they were 12 years old in junior high band (Kelly was there too!). After that, they played sports against each other until high school when they played on the same team. Mike was a groomsman in Kris and Kelly’s wedding. Kris started dating Marietta’s sister, Kelly, when they were 16 years old. Marietta was a bridesmaid in their wedding and has been an active “Auntie Mimi” to their kids, going on trips together and spending time at their house.
Lindsay McMillan
Bridesmaid
Marietta met Lindsay in 2013 at Holland Center, where they both still work. Together, they enjoy happy hours on patios, a chilled glass of tap cider beer, and taking a ride down the river with Mike on his pontoon!
Andrew Goette
Groomsman
Marietta met Andrew when he and Ashley started dating when they were 15 years old. Ever since that day, Andrew has been like a little brother to Marietta, fitting in with our family effortlessly. He even works in the family business, Janecky Plumbing! Marietta and Mike enjoy spending time with Andrew (and Ashley and their boys) at the pool in the summer and various other family events, which tend to happen often with our family!
Ava Staples

Ava is Marietta's oldest niece. Marietta enjoys traveling with Ava, watching her dance, and watching her grow into an incredible young lady.
Deacon Staples

Deacon is Marietta's godson and nephew. Marietta and Mike enjoy watching Deacon play sports, especially baseball in the summer. Deacon is an amazing cousin to Kristopher and Emilia and they all enjoy any family event where they're all together.
Leila Staples

Leila is Marietta's youngest niece. Marietta enjoys spending time with Leila, playing games, having sleepovers, and watching her dance and play sports. She is an amazing cousin to Kristopher and Emilia.
Emilia Hemming
Flower Girl
Emilia is Mike and Marietta's daughter born last June. Mike and Marietta enjoy watching Emilia grow and learn so much and develop the best sense of humor.
Lennon Goette
Ring Bearer
Lennon is Marietta's nephew. Since the day he was born, Lenny has had such a unique personality: full of energy, inquisitive, and so funny! Mike and Marietta love spending time with Lenny at the pool in the summer.
Crosby Goette
Ring Bearer
Crosby is Marietta's youngest nephew. Crosby is sweet and charming and fills Mike and Marietta's hearts with love when he is around. Mike and Marietta have enjoyed and look forward to watching Crosby and Emilia grow up together so close in age.
Jay Janecky
Usher
Jay is Marietta's brother. Marietta and Mike enjoy spending time with Jay in the summer at the pool, hearing about the latest gadget Jay is interested in, and watching him play with the kids. Marietta and Jay also work together, so they get to spend time together frequently during the week, which they both enjoy.
