FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Please submit a soft RSVP by October 1, 2025, to help us plan. Final RSVP is due by January 1st, 2026

Question

When should we arrive in Lisbon?

Answer

We recommend arriving on or before Monday, May 18th, so you can join us for a welcome cocktail celebration. The wedding will take place on Wednesday, so arriving early gives you time to settle in, explore the city, and celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love celebrating with all our favorite people! Please check your invitation envelope or online RSVP — if a plus one has been included, it will be listed there. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and ask!

Question

Do I need to apply for a visa ahead of traveling to Portugal?

Answer

Travelers from the U.S. may need to apply for an ETIAS travel authorization. While the guidelines are not yet in effect, please note that a valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond the wedding week is required. The application process should take only a few minutes. Learn more here: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en

Question

When should I book my accommodation and flights?

Answer

It’s important to book hotels/Airbnbs and flights early. Flights typically range from $600-$1200, and the best time to book is November 2025 to January 2026. Set price alerts and aim to book no later than January 2026 for the best rates and availability.

Question

What’s the best airport to fly into? What about airline?

Answer

We recommend flying into Lisbon (LIS). Direct flights are available from New York (TAP, United, Delta), Miami (TAP, American), and Los Angeles (TAP). You can also connect to Lisbon through major European hubs such as Barcelona (LEVEL), Madrid (Iberia), or London (British Airways). Travelers from other U.S. cities may connect via U.S. or European airports.

Question

What hotel do you recommend?

Answer

We are staying at Hotel Mundial for the first few days before the wedding. Its centrally located, affordable, and has one of the best rooftops in Lisbon!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Refined Summer Formal For Women: Dresses: Light and breezy midi or maxi dresses in fabrics like chiffon, linen, or silk. Embrace soft pastels, Mediterranean-inspired tones, or floral patterns. For Men: Suits or Blazers: Lightweight options like linen or cotton in light gray, beige, or pastel shades. Footwear: (steer clear of sneakers). Additional Tips: Colors: Avoid white, cream, or ivory to let the bride shine. Embrace warm, earthy tones like sage green, terracotta, or dusty blue. Weather: May in Lisbon is typically mild (70°F), so breathable fabrics will keep you comfortable. Comfort: Our venue includes some outdoor areas, so practical footwear is recommended.

Question

How far is Quinta de Torneiro from Lisbon city center?

Answer

Quinta de Torneiro is about 15–25 minutes by car or taxi from Lisbon city center, and around 45 minutes by public transportation. Taxis and rideshares are easily available for a convenient trip to the venue. Bolt (app) is widely used in Lisbon (cheaper), and Uber is another great option.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There are parking spots that allow up to 50 cars in front of the venue.

Question

Will I be able to get an Uber or taxi after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Ubers and taxis are available late at night in Lisbon and the surrounding areas, including Quinta de Torneiro. We recommend booking your ride in advance or at least checking availability closer to 1 a.m.
