Bainbridge Island Travel

We highly recommend you arrive early or stay on the island Friday evening as in the summer the ferries often run late- we'll be holding a welcome event to encourage you! We will have a shuttle between downtown Bainbridge (near hotels) and the ferry to the Summers residence. Note: there is no parking at the venue, parking will be at the nearby school with a shuttle running regularly to the venue. The most accurate ferry tracking can be found on the WSDOT app under "ferries" and "vessel watch." In the summer the schedule becomes unpredictable due to heavy car traffic. If you plan to take the ferry the day of, plan to walk on as car transport is often full. Car transport on the island: Ubers are very limited. Plan transport accordingly. Your best bet is to schedule a taxi in advance through Viking Cab Co. at 1.360.244.4420

This is a wonderful boutique hotel near downtown with a lovely marina view. Shuttles will stop here.

The Marshall Suites

This is an excellent budget hotel on the island, it is a walk to downtown but very close to many fast-casual restaurants and safeway. We will have a shuttle pick-up guests here.

The Inn at Pleasant Beach

This is a wonderful hotel on Bainbridge further South on the Island. Great if you are looking to explore some nature/ beaches in advance of the wedding. Due to the location shuttles will NOT be coming here.

Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort

A beautiful casino resort just across the bridge overlooking the water. This is on the Squamish tribe land just across from Bainbridge and a good option if you are looking for a casino/ resort accommodation. There are casino shuttles regularly between the casino and the bainbridge ferry. Due to the location wedding shuttles will NOT be coming here.

Due to limited space, parking is not available at the residence. A shuttle will begin for guests driving at 3pm from the x̌alilc (Halilts) Elementary School (12781 Madison Ave NE Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 United States). This shuttle will end at 3:35pm in advance of the ceremony and be available for return trips during the reception.
