Zack and Richard first met in college. They both pursued the same degree and shared many of the same classes. After graduating they remained close and recently traveled to California together to experience Los Angeles and San Diego. They now live a few hours apart, but still manage to see each other every few weeks. They both enjoy the luxury of a cold crispy bud light!
Taylor Andrews
Groomsman
Richard and Taylor have been best friends for a very long time. In middle school, Richard moved across the street from Taylor and the two have been inseparable since. They both have stories about one another that will make you question how they are still alive and in one piece. When they were little they would take on projects like building skateboard ramps, go-karts, and installing "pools" in Richards parents backyard.. More recently they finished building the new roof for Richards’s barn. After high school they experienced a very memorable Canada trip that still gets brought up to this day. Richard is a proud uncle to Taylor’s son TJ.
Mike Downs
Groomsman
Mike and Richard met in middle school and have been friends ever since. In high school Mike, Richard, and Taylor all held the same first jobs as servers at the local retirement home. On the weekends the gang would frequently spend time at Mikes place as his parents loved having all the kids over....or tolerated it. Since Richard moved back to the area Mike has been by weekly, helping Richard with house projects and perfecting their disc golf throws in the backyard.
Tyler McManus
Groomsman
Tyler and Richard lived across the street from one another from birth through middle school. When they were younger, Richards’s mom would babysit Tyler from time to time. After Tyler got his license he would drive Richard to school so that he didn’t have to ride the bus. Richard would stop by Tyler’s house after school and they would spend countless hours playing Super Smash brothers on Nintendo 64. Tyler, being a couple years older went off to Norfolk to attend Old Dominion University, two years later Richard would follow suit and they became roommates. After they finished college they both spent a week backpacking through Colorado and Wyoming. Tyler was also part of the memorable post High school Canada trip. They are very close friends to this day!
Andrew Winterstine

Andrew is Richards’ brother in law. Andrew and Richard have many common interest including, but not limited to; Gangster rap, disc golf, and degenerate gambling on sports teams. Andrew and Richard also both enjoy warmer weather and going to the beach. They have visited several tropical countries together via cruise ship, where they also degenerately gamble!
Colin Huband
Groomsman
Colin and Richard first met in the dorms at Radford University. They both enjoyed skateboarding, playing video games, and getting into trouble. Fun fact: Colin and Richard were once given citations for skateboarding. The official charge was for “playing in the street”. They went to court and the charges were dropped! After the dorms Richard and Colin lived together for 2 years. They would spend summers making bonfires and floating the New River and would travel to Tennessee for spring break, where they would sip moonshine and enjoy the Smoky Mountains. Shortly after Colin graduated he was introduced to Melissa through Marielle. They have been together ever since!
Jordan Sontag
Groomsman
Jordan is soon to be Richards bother in law. Richard and Jordan both enjoy fishing, video games, and fast cars. Although separated by a few states, Jordan and Marielle remain very close. Jordan and Richard along with the Sontag family enjoyed a very memorable trip to Ireland just a few years back. Shortly after we returned, Jordan went off to boot camp and 12 weeks later he became a Marine. Oorah!
Amanda Krauss
Maid of Honor
Amanda is Marielle’s sister in law and Maid of Honor. They have had made some of the best memories together, floating down the Delaware River, sun tanning and getting their hair braided in Mexico, drinking Irish trash cans in Ocean City, cruising around the Potomac, and running around Falls Church have been some of their favorite memories together over the years. Amanda has been more than a great friend to Marielle, she’s been like an older sister to her and has stood by Marielle and Richard’s side no matter what. Marielle is thrilled to have a sister for life and to have Amanda by her side on her wedding day.
Holly King
Bridesmaid
Holly is Marielle’s bridesmaid and best friend. Holly and Marielle met in college through their sorority and were attached at the hip since then. They bonded over their love for Greys Anatomy, Harry Potter, and dance parties. Holly has been a devoted, caring, and supportive friend over the years. Marielle and Holly did everything together in college and have made tons of memories; from ditching sorority events, to reckless Gatlinburg Tennessee trips, dance parties in the Villa, to supporting each other through Graduate school. Marielle is so excited to have Holly supporting her on her wedding day!
Melissa Westphal
Bridesmaid
Melissa is one of Marielle’s bridesmaids and best friends, they met Marielle’s senior year of college through mutual friends. After Marielle graduated, Melissa helped Marielle get a job at Key Center, and they now teach right across the hall from each other at the same school! Aside from working together, Melissa and Marielle enjoy bar hopping around Falls Church, shopping, going to the beach, and playing card games. Melissa has been a great friend to Marielle over the past 6 years, Melissa is one of the most supportive, welcoming, adventurous, and caring friends anyone can ask for and Marielle is so excited Melissa will be there for her on her big day!
Charlotte Coleman

Charlotte is one of Marielle’s oldest friends, they met in elementary school and have been best friends ever since. Marielle and Charlotte were inseparable from elementary school to college and are honorary members of each other’s’ families. Charlotte is a trustworthy, reliable, and understanding friend, her and Marielle have made endless great memories together. Some of Charlotte and Marielle’s favorite activities include going to concerts, snowboarding, binge watching TV shows, playing SIMs, road trip adventures, going to the beach, and drinking red wine. Marielle is thrilled to have her childhood bestfriend by her side on her big day!
Skylar Thoren

Skylar is one of Marielle’s bridesmaids and cousins from her mother’s side. Skylar and Marielle’s grandparents were very close, and their families merged into one big, fun, loud, crazy family. Skylar and Marielle share a passion for cooking and eating, they love sharing recipes and trying new foods together. Marielle admires Skylar’s positivity and strength; Skylar has always been a fun, supportive, and loving friend since they were little. From the family traditions, to causing trouble, to trying to sneak into bars, and fun sleepovers, Skylar and Marielle have made many great memories together. Marielle is very thankful that Skylar will be there for her on such an important day.

Macy is one of Marielle’s best friends and bridesmaids. They met freshman year of college in the dorms. Macy was Marielle’s favorite roommate, they lived together for 3 years in Radford. Macy is a fiercely loyal, dependable, laid-back friend who is always up for an adventure. Macy and Marielle have made some great memories together, from hosting epic wine night Wednesdays, to drinking moonshine in Gatlinburg Tennessee, dancing at Sharkeys Up Top, running around Radford, playing video games, and having movie nights. Marielle is delighted to have Macy’s support on this important day!

KellyAnne is Marielle’s bridesmaid and one of Marielle’s closest friends. KellyAnne and Marielle met in 2017 through mutual friends and bonded instantly. KellyAnne is a kind, supportive, trustworthy, and a dependable friend. KellyAnne and Marielle have made tons of great memories together, from bar hopping in DC, to crazy joint birthday beach trips, to sleepovers and shopping trips. Marielle can always count on KellyAnne to be there for her and she is excited that KellyAnne will be a part of her wedding day.
