Emil and Elvis have been best friends since they were 13 years old. Early on, they made a pact—when the time came, they would be each other’s best man. Emil proudly stood by Elvis’ side when he married Jen in 2016, and now, almost a decade later, he’s honored to have Elvis fulfill the other half of the deal. Elvis now lives in Boston, where he works as a psychiatrist for the VA. Despite the distance, their friendship has remained as strong as ever. Whether it’s reminiscing about their teenage adventures or catching up on life’s big moments, their bond is unshakable. Emil couldn’t imagine his wedding day without Elvis right there next to him.

Olivia is a dedicated and generous sister. She always picks up the phone when Marielle calls and is an empathetic shoulder to lean on in any situation. Growing up in Mill Valley together, Olivia fell in love with ballet and upon graduating from high school became a professional ballet dancer. One of Marielle's favorite things in life was watch Olivia dance. Olivia lives in Los Angeles with her husband Justin and dog Cheddar. She runs her own social media business and has a beautiful monarch butterfly garden.
Andrew Aboyme
Groomsman
Emil and Andrew’s friendship began in their freshman year at Galileo High School in San Francisco. Their bond was sealed when Andrew challenged Emil to foot races on the steep hills of SF a couple of times a week—back when Emil was known for his speed. What started as friendly competition quickly turned into a lifelong friendship. Today, Andrew lives in Arkansas with his wife, Gabriela, and their son, Lucca. He’s dedicated to his work as a cardiologist, but no matter how busy life gets, he and Emil always find time to catch up. Emil is honored to have Andrew standing by his side on this special day.

Chach and Marielle LOVE to laugh together. They have traveled and camped together in many beautiful places including Hawaii, Tahoe and the California coast. They met through their dear friend Emma, and Chach fills Marielle's heart with joy. Chach is an LCSW and lives in Los Angeles with her husband Quang, a gifted horticulturalist, and their dog Bean.
Micah Hayes

Emil and Micah met in college as flatmates, but their friendship truly deepened when they committed to a daily morning meditation together in the garden. Over the years, Micah has taught Emil how to play the saxophone, surf, and much more. Now living in Humboldt County with his son, Micah remains a great friend, and Emil is honored to have him by his side on this special day.
Zoe Bailey
Bridesmaid
Zoe, a fellow social worker, and Marielle have been friends for years. They went to UC Berkeley together and they got especially close when they lived together with their pups. Zoe lights up a room and shares in the celebration and joy of others with an open heart. Zoe lives in Fairfield with her husband Earl and their amazing daughters, Kaia (4) and Harper (2).
Arthur Razote

I was told they needed a fourth groomsman because the other guy got jury duty. My name is Arthur, and I enjoy short walks on the beach—mostly because it's cold in Daly City. I am, without a doubt, Emil's most indecisive friend. I can never decide if I’m an extrovert or an introvert. One thing’s for sure, though: I’m happy you finally got your love story. Toodles!
Ozben Felek
Bridesmaid
Ozben is Marielle and Emil's dear friend and fellow acupuncturist. We love spending afternoons in the park together and evenings playing music with Ozben and her family. Ozben is as attentive and caring as one gets and we are so grateful for her support. Originally from Turkey, Ozben lives in Berkeley with her husband Trent, and beautiful daughter Hazel (1). She has a lovely acupuncture practice on Solano Ave.
Nancy Ramsay
Mother of the Bride
Marielle doesn't know what she would do without her mama! She always has Marielle's back and has provided tremendous guidance over the years. Marielle is grateful for all her support in planning the wedding. Nancy shares Emil and Marielle's love of animals, especially dogs! She's a huge warriors fan, an avid reader, and always up to date on the news. She cares for a native garden on Mt. Tam.
Michael Ramsay
Father of the Bride
Michael brings lightness and a positive perspective to any conversation. He is very supportive of Emil and Marielle. They love hanging out watching the Warriors, bbqing or going to new restaurants together. In addition to catching the Bay Area sports teams, Michael spends hours a day playing the piano. He practiced dentistry in San Francisco for forty-four years, and is enjoying retirement playing golf, as well as feeding the birds and practicing tai-chi on their deck in Mill Valley.
