The Dalí (Salvador Dalí Museum)
One of our first dates upon moving to Tampa Bay was visiting the Salvador Dali museum in Downtown St. Pete. The strikingly modern architecture welcomes all curious enough to venture through its doors. Both classic & modern installations of the Spanish artists' work are showcased. There's even an app you can download on your smart-phone that makes the paintings come to life! Technology never ceases to amaze me. The Dali just may provoke you to look at our world in a more whimsical way
Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaraunt
Delicious Tapas Bar. Super close to the venue off Beach Drive. Our favorites are Hamachi crudo, Jamón served with bread and grated tomatoes, and the vegetarian paella! Love, love this place
St. Pete Pier™
Right next door to the Museum of Fine Arts you will stumble upon the St. Pete Pier. Beautifully situated near Beach Drive, you can take-in a lively stroll, people-watching all walks of life. Our favorite part about walking the pier? There's at treat at the finish-line! Several restaurants & a tiki-bar are located in the canopy of the pier. A fabulous spot to sip on Mai Thais & marvel at the vista of Tampa Bay
Mio’s Grill & Cafe
Who knew a little bistro in St. Pete could transport you to the Mediterranean! Turkish and Greek specialties are prepared. Some of our favorites include the falafel, hummus, pitas, and salads. Super fresh and made with hella love.
Ted Peters Famous Smoked Fish
An institution of St. Pete featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives! Serving the community for +70 years, spanning over 5 generations, this family knows their stuff around a smoker. We always take our family & friends to Ted's because the food is just so dang good. Smoked mullet dinner with German style potato salad & pickles? I'm salivating whilst typing this note! If fish is not your fancy don't worry. They make a killer cheese burger too. Cash only. Highly, highly recommend!
Central Avenue
Walking the town on Central Avenue is a must while in St. Pete! Bop into any bar along the way and you're bound to have a ball. There's always live music, cold beer and a good time to be had. Let loose and enjoy your time in the neighborhood
