Longwood Gardens
Only 35 minutes away from the hotel, we had our favourite date there in September. Longwood Gardens is a botanical garden that consists of over 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows. There are a few photos of us there in the Photos section. We highly recommend it.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition
Visitors will get an up-close look at authentic props and original costumes from the films as they engage with magical environments and installations in this unforgettable experience. Currently only in Philadelphia, until September. Additional locations worldwide to be announced
Pennsville Farm Market
The very best of NJ's produce and fruits. Locally sourced natural honey, delicious pies and goodies baked on the premises, locally made candles, VT maple syrup, cider jam and syrups, organic and hypoallergenic line of soaps and skin care products. They also have home made ice cream sundaes, floats, sandwiches, blizzards, sugar free ice creams and non-fat frozen ice creams. Cash only
Christiana Mall
About 15 min away from the hotel. If you want to do some shopping, this is the biggest mall in Delaware. So if you need to stop by Apple, Banana Republic, H&M, Macy's, Lush, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn, Sephora, Target, Victoria's Secret or Williams Sonoma, they have you covered.
Brandywine Zoo
The Brandywine zoo hosts a variety of mammals, birds and reptiles. Notably, they are home to Domestic Goats, a Florida Bobcat, a Capybara, Flemish Giant Rabbits, Golden Lion Tamarins, Red Pandas, a Serval, North American Porcupines, Lemurs and White-faced Sakis. Only 20 min away from the hotel
Xtreme Zone
Xtreme Zone, 12 min from the hotel, offers thrill-seekers several different outlets for high adrenaline fun. Choose between Go-Karting, axe throwing, or VR racing simulators.

Rock Manor Golf Club
There are several public golf clubs in the area. Rock Manor is the closest one, about 20 min from the hotel. Rock Manor is an 18-hole, 6,405-yard championship course design by renowned golf-course architect Lester George.
Philadelphia
About 40 min away. Be sure to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were signed. There are also several top of the line museums, such as the Barnes Foundation and the Museum of Art. We have a soft spot for the Old Town including America's oldest street, Elfreth's Alley. After digesting all of that history, be sure you save room for a classic Philly cheese steak sandwich.
Atlantic City
1h25min away Stroll along the famous Boardwalk with its numerous amusements and eateries, head to one of the beaches, or visit the historic Absecon Lighthouse and the new Wheel at Steel Pier. Several championship golf courses are within a 30 minute drive or you could head to one of the 9 casinos. Water-based activities include parasailing, charter fishing and dolphin-watching cruises.
