Our Wedding Day Plans

12/21/21

Mike and I spent many moments together pondering what our wedding day would look like. We thought about the things we wanted, and what really mattered to us. The thought of having a huge wedding was never a big want for us. We wanted to keep it under 60 people, or so we thought. The more we thought about it, and failed to plan anything, the more we realized we didn't really even want a wedding. We wanted a peaceful, stress free day, shared with our immediate family. So thats when the excitement hit. On December 21st, 2021, Mike and I will arrive to Park Ave. in Winter Park to start family photos at 5:00pm. We will then walk over to a beautiful Italian Restaurant called La Braccia for our reservations for 5:30pm. Our parents, siblings and kids will join us there for a intimate dinner. Once dinner is coming to an end, everyone except my mom and I will head across the street into the park where the ceremony will be. I will quickly change into a simple lace and satin white gown. There, my mom and I will walk together to meet everyone and my mom will walk me to my dad, and my dad will walk me down to Mike. My sister's wedding gift to me was a live painter who will be there during the duration of the ceremony. To end the evening, we will have cake and Champagne at BoVine Steakhouse where we can laugh and toast to end our evening. As much as we would love everyone to be there, we chose to keep things as simple as possible. Being in the wedding industry for as long as I have, it has taught me many things, and the one that sticks out the most is watching each bride completely focused on everything except what the day is really about.
