Celebration of Marriage

It all began in middle school. Kyle was the annoying boy who kicked my clarinet case during band class. I was the sweet girl who gave him a chocolate milk and chocolate chip cookie during lunch. We became closer friends in high school. On May 2, 2013, Kyle asked me to be his girlfriend with a sweet poem. Since then, we have been inseparable.

With our two close friends, Hannah and Jeremy, we decided to go on a weekend getaway trip to Santa Barbara. Our first stop of our trip was the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens. After walking for a bit, our friends wanted to start taking photos. Kyle and I our take our places to pose for the camera. After a few photos, Kyle gets down on his knee and pops the question! Of course, I said yes!

We decided to get married on August 21, 2020! Due to COVID-19, we could not hold a formal wedding ceremony and reception. We instead got married at the Honda Center, via the Orange County Courthouse. The next day, we held a reception with the immediate family and friends to celebrate the occasion.
