We're getting married!

His version: We've personally met during the church wedding of our mutual friends, Mark Kelvin and Ada Jenkyns, who are also firefighters, in Baguio City last May 15, 2018. The night before the wedding, my friends and I decided to go to the night market to buy something to eat just near the transient house we accommodated. Coincidentally, Mickey and her friends were also roaming around the area and unknowingly, we almost encounter each other. Thanks to Mark Kelvin, my Bestman and our Mr. Cupid, who started it all, we will finally tie the knot and have the long table. Her version: Actually, he didn't notice me the first time we've met. Hahahahha! Even before we traveled to Baguio for the wedding, I was so ready to meet "The One". But to my surprise, the night he is claiming he didn't notice me due to his poor eyesight, it was the most magical night that ever happened to me. Everything went slow-mo. Some romantic music played from nowhere and all I can ever see was him.

It has been successfully planned that a wedding proposal happened last Christmas Eve of 2021 at Sundowners Beach Villas in Botolan Zambales. I had connived her cousins and parents for the set-up that upon arriving, after a long drive from office in Manila to the beach villas, both still wearing our office attire, and while she hears her favorite song "Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka" playing, she was surprised in tears when she saw me standing and holding a bouquet of flowers with "Will You Marry Me" Christmas lights background. I bravely knelt on the ground with an engagement ring while holding her hands and asked her to marry me. Thankfully, I heard the sweetest and my much-awaited YES as an answer from her, taking our relationship into next level as engaged couple.
