Well, neither one of us like to admit this, but we met on a dating app. How millennial of us, right? Not sure how else a Florida girl and Wisconsin boy would meet in Little Rock, AR! We met during the 2020 Covid shut down, so our first date was at Nick's house. We had wine and a charcuterie board on his back deck and talked for hours. We both deleted the dating app very shortly after meeting each other. We knew we wouldn't need it anymore :)

The day before the engagement, it was perfect weather - 70 and sunny. Of course, the day of the engagement it was cold and rainy. Nick somehow still talked me into having a drink on the deck before going to dinner. We went out to the patio where Nick recreated our first date (he stepped it up a few notches!). Once I saw the flowers on the table, it clicked. I turned around and he was down on one knee with the ring! After the initial excitement, we got dressed up and went to a nice dinner. Nick said he had a few more surprises for me but we had to stop by the house first. I walked in to a surpise “CONGRATULATIONS!” from both of our families. It was such a special evening sharing that moment with our family!
