Travel & Accommodation Tips
FLIGHTS There are between 4-6 flights to Terrace (Northwest Regional Airport - YXT) every day. Most flights come from Vancouver, and some of them route through Calgary. The flight from Vancouver to Terrace is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The flight from Calgary to Terrace is about 2 hours and 30 minutes. RENTAL CARS The airport is about 15 minutes out of “town”. Cabs are difficult to get so it’s best to rent a car in advance, or call us to help arrange you a ride! Hertz, National, Budget & Enterprise all operate out of YXT, and you can book a car online or by calling. We recommend booking ahead of time as they can get busy. ACCOMMODATION We have linked some popular hotels in Terrace below. If you have questions about whether you should stay at certain hotels, please reach out to us! If you are travelling by van/camper, there is a Provincial park campsite (Kleanza Creek) close to our house, and parking available at our property as well. Please let us know if you’d like to park on the property as we will reserve a spot for you. We have space for tent camping on our property as well - let us know if you’d like to camp, and if you need to borrow any gear (tents, sleeping pads, etc)!
