The two of us grew up together! We actually attended the same church…the same schools. His mother and my sister were best friends. My nephew and his brother were best friends, too. I knew everyone in his family very well. The question is, how did we miss each other during those times? It may not have been meant to be at that time… but in God’s time! Mike and I were brought together by one simple phone call. His sister requested that I give him a call at a very pivotal time in his life. I never imagined, after all of these years, that staying connected to his sister would one day connect him & I forever!! Mike and I talked on the phone for several months. Then he decided it was time to take that trip from SC to VA. When he came to Virginia, we received so many confirmations about our future together. So many people thought we were already married and a couple even asked us to pray for them! We were meant to be…for this time! It’s been US ever since & here we are TODAY!
