I have to start with a huge shout-out to Roldoph—because without him, there would be no "Marie and Lou." He’s the reason Lou and I crossed paths, and I’ll always be thankful for the role he played in bringing us together. Our adventure started back in 2003. Lou had just wrapped up a football game and came over, nursing an ear injury. I, being the "doctor" I thought I was, took charge and helped him clean up his cut. Little did I know, that simple act would spark a friendship that would turn into something much more. A year later, we were talking more seriously, and just a few months after that, we decided to make it official. Since then, we've been through everything—ups, downs, challenges, victories—and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Then came 2011—the moment that changed everything. Our little girl arrived, and the world felt like it shifted. Suddenly, it wasn’t just about us anymore. It was about building a family and nurturing the incredible bond we’d created. Years passed, full of changes and moves. Lou went back and forth between North Carolina and Florida, but eventually, he found his way back home to Georgia. And through it all, our love has never wavered. Fast forward to January 2024—Lou finally asked the big question! And now, here we are, ready to embark on the next chapter of this wild ride together.
