July 2022: Kurran was in AK looking for a Bible study and Maro was in MA looking for a travel buddy and somehow they connected on Upward. They started texting and connected right away. August 2022: Maro invited Kurran to join on a family group trip to FL and didn't believe he would show up. Much to her surprise, he did! Much to Kurran's surprise the group had downsized and he was joining only Maro and her parents (who were surprised that Kurran existed!) October 2022: Starting in Washington DC they had their first of many traveling adventures as a couple. November 2022: Thanksgiving in Idaho! Maro got to meet Kurran's parents. (No one was surprised). December 2022: Christmas with Maro's family - they knew Kurran was tagging along this time. May 2023: Maro graduated! And when Kurran and his dad came to celebrate with her they also asked her parents for their blessing to get married. June 2023: Maro moves to AK November 2023: Birthday road trip through California featuring mountains, vineyards, and a ring! Maro was very surprised!
