Jayden and I met on Snapchat on December 25th, 2021. He slid up on one of my posts asking about an anime mask, thinking it was from Naruto—but it was actually from Demon Slayer. That small moment turned into us staying up super late playing Minecraft together and building an amazing friendship. Over time, that friendship quickly grew into something more. Even though we didn’t date at first because of the distance, we went through all the ups and downs that come with a strong friendship. Those moments became the foundation for the beautiful relationship we have now. Along the way we both grew as people, and somehow that random Snapchat reply turned into something really special.
