Depends on where you stay. If at the Alamo, walk across the street! If at Skyview, take the shuttle that will be provided. If driving, there is ample free parking right on Bell St. (the main road through town.) *Please note: Uber/Lyft services are not a reliable mode of transportation in this remote town.
Yes! There is plenty of free parking on Bell street, the main road through town.
Los Alamos, California is located northeast of Santa Barbara, approximately 50 miles away. Typically, you would take US-101 North and after about 40 miles, you'll reach the exit for CA-135 North, which will lead you directly to Los Alamos. You can also take the CA-154 which will eventually connect you to the US-101.
Due to limited space, we kindly request that only guests listed on the invitation attend the wedding.
Pets are allowed at the Alamo Motel for an additional fee. That said, we would not recommend bringing your pets as there will be a lot of events/mingling around town and would hate for your pet to be unattended at a hotel for extended periods of time. If you're in a pickle and feel the need to bring your pet, please let us know so we're aware.
Dress code for the wedding is black-tie optional, however, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy the celebration, so use your discretion and choose attire that makes you feel confident and at ease :)
The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will take place outdoors with a bunch of heaters. After dinner, we will move indoors where the dancing will begin!
Typically, Los Alamos in December stays around 60-65 degrees during the day and as low as 40-45 degrees at night. Although there will be plenty of heaters on the wedding day, we suggest that you bring a coat with you. We can provide blankets as well.
Yes, you can find our Newlywed Fund and other items on this website. However, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all!
