We first met during our junior year at Illinois State University through a business club, but I never paid Grant much attention (his words, not mine)! Despite seeing each other weekly, our paths never fully crossed until we were in a class together and he asked for a copy of my study guide. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Grant didn’t need the study guide and just wanted an easy excuse to send me a text... the rest is history!

During our many evening walks in downtown Denver, I always talked about how much I loved the Clock Tower on 16th St. and wanted to see the views from the top. Grant took note and secretly put plans in motion to rent out the top floors. I was told we were going on a “fancy date night” downtown and joked about how it better not just be at the Cheesecake Factory. Once downtown, Grant guided me to the top of the Clock Tower (which is next to the Cheesecake Factory by the way) and got down on one knee. Though I’m pretty sure I blacked out in excitement, I definitely said “YES”!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Italy!
