Dominic and Marie met in Mrs. Baker's Church History class in their junior year of high school. That semester, Mrs. Baker assigned a saint report to everyone in the class. Marie was assigned... Saint Dominic! The Dominic that Marie knew in that religion class was far from a saint as he was always distracting the class and messing around with his friends. Fast forward to senior year and Dominic and Marie are in yet another religion class together. On the first day of class, Ms. Nelson projected the seating chart, and sure enough, Dominic and Marie were seated next to each other. What starts off as copying from Marie's tests turns into more and more text exchanges and finally-- Dominic asking Marie to be his date to senior prom. Soon after, on May 14, 2014, Dominic asks Marie to be his girlfriend. Ever since, Dominic has taught Marie to have a little (or a lot) more fun in life, and Marie has shown Dominic that school is important-- after all, he met his soon-to-be wife in one!
