Check out the hotel listed under the "Travel" tab for a good option downtown. If you would rather stay in another hotel, another area of Minneapolis, or even St. Paul, great! Feel free to reach out to us if you have any logistical questions.
If you're driving into town, you'll find that Minneapolis is a driveable (and generally parkable) city. No car? Minneapolis has a fairly reliable bus system, and a Light Rail train that connects downtown Minneapolis with the airport and Mall of America via the Blue Line, and downtown St. Paul via the Green Line. There are also plentiful Ubers and Lyfts available, if ridesharing is your preference.
Minneapolis has some fantastic restaurants, and we recommend that you try a few while you're in town. Some of our favorites include Quang, Hai Hai, Hola Arepa, Young Joni, Parlour (get the burger), Bar La Grassa, Holy Land, Brasa Rotisserie, Victor's 1959, and Kramarczuk's. Yelp is a good guide if you're looking for a certain cuisine.
Minneapolis is a huge beer city. Some of the breweries Marie can vouch for include Surly, Indeed, Fair State, Dangerous Man, Bauhaus, Fulton, Modist, and Insight, and that isn't even an exhaustive list of the breweries in the Twin Cities. Not a beer drinker? No worries--Minneapolis has other beverages to offer. For distilleries, try Tattersall, Norseman, or Du Nord. Cider? Christian loves Sociable Ciderwerks. Cocktails? Marvel Bar, Parlour, Constantine, and Volstead's Emporium all offer amazing drinks and ambiance.
