It was the evening of September 13, 2020 when Rick and I met. I took my 2 youngest children to fish at Banana Lake. The poles I had bought them, I spooled with a braided 8lb. test. I was frustrated because I was trying to put the lures on and my knot kept slipping so annoyed, I told the kids to come with me to the car so I could grab something and as I’m walking to the car I see a white Audi parked off the the side, past the sign that stated “No Parking.” I didn’t see anyone in sight and mumbled to my kids…..”what’s this guy in the Audi doing?? Not Fishing.” And I chuckled. My kids looked at me confused. I brushed it off. I grabbed whatever I needed and we headed back to the dock and as I’m attempting to put the lures on, once again, I hear my son talking to someone so I immediately looked up to assess the situation. That’s when I saw my son talking to a good looking guy who was throwing his net out…and I assumed, was around my age…but he seemed nice enough so I let him continue talking to my son. After about 30 mins.
