Has the venue changed??
Answer
Yes, as of April 14, the wedding location has changed!! We were able to book a gorgeous garden estate just down the road from the original location! The time, attire, and other ceremony details remain the same, as do all recommended travel arrangements. We can't wait for you to see this beautiful venue!

Where's your registry?
Answer
We are requesting no physical gifts. (Living in NYC, we have everything we need, and hardly enough space for it!) However, we are looking forward to some big next steps, including purchasing a home and starting a family, so monetary gifts would be gratefully appreciated as we save for these milestones. Marie is a particular fan of greeting cards, so she's looking forward to cherishing these keepsakes.

What should I wear?
Answer
Cocktail attire is requested! More specifically, this will be a daytime garden party, so think dress shirts and cocktail dresses or elegant sundresses, especially in colorful pastels and flower patterns if you're inclined to match the garden theme! If you know Marie, you know there's no such thing as too fancy! ;) If you'd like to wear heels, opt for a block heel or chunky sandal suited to walking on grass. Note that the ceremony will be held in an open green space without shade, so we recommend you incorporate sunscreen, formal hats, and sunglasses into your outfit!

What will there be to eat?
Answer
Hors d'oeuvres will be available during cocktail hour after the ceremony, and a buffet-style Mediterranean dinner will be provided during the reception. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available, and of course, cake and other desserts. (If you know Jamel, you know we're not skimping on sweets!)

Who's in your wedding party?
Answer
No one! Everyone! We are skipping the bridesmaid/groomsman tradition, and the wedding will be an intimate affair where everyone is part of our closest circle.
