Our journey together began at Saint Joseph's University during our senior year of college, but our paths had crossed much earlier. Freshman year, we shared the same math class, and unbeknownst to Cassandra, Jake had already developed a crush on her. Little did we know, fate had its own plans to bring us closer. The real turning point came during a retreat in our senior year. As part of an icebreaker game called "Birdie on a Perch," Jake mustered the courage to ask Cassandra to be his partner. We worked well together, earning second place in the game and sparking a connection that would grow stronger with time. After the retreat, Cassandra reached out to Jake first, suggesting we go out for pho. That text marked the beginning of countless conversations, shared meals, and memorable moments. From that point on, we kept talking, hanging out, and discovering just how perfect we were for each other. And that was that—our story had begun, leading us to this beautiful moment of love and commitment.
