For this special day, the dress code is formal. Ladies in floor-length dresses and gentlemen in dress pants, a dress shirt, and a tie, with a jacket optional—all to keep with the formalwear of the bride and groom. As the celebration takes place during the summer, lightweight or breezy fabrics are recommended for the season.
Absolutely! Children are a true joy, and they are more than welcome to join us. If you’ll be bringing little ones, please let us know their ages. They may not eat much, but it helps us plan for seating and head count. We look forward to seeing the whole family!
Non-Catholic guests are welcome to participate in mass gestures like kneeling, standing, and making the sign of the cross, but can't receive Communion. You can however come forward for a blessing, during the Eucharist, with your arms crossed over your chest. Alternatively, you can stay seated and silently pray for the couple. We will provide a ceremony program, to make it easy to follow along. Our Wedding Mass will last approximately one hour, with the reception directly following.
We have hired a photographer and a videographer to capture our blessed sacrament. It is important to the couple that all guests have the opportunity to enjoy their ceremony without the interference of cellphones. We politely ask that you turn all electronics off. We also ask that kids remain cellphone and tablet free. Don't worry if your little one[s] make noises, we love that they are in attendance. Feel free to bring them some quiet books, or soft toys to help them stay occupied.
