We're getting married!

We met at my Halloween party through a mutual friend. I was dressed as a penguin and she was Sandy from Grease! The moment I locked eyes with Jess I knew I couldn't let her slip away. Before the night was over I rushed over and put my arms around Jess's shoulders to ask for her number. At that moment, the same mutual friend that brought us together said "Ryan! Get your penguin claws off of her!" And the rest was history.

In front of us was a tent decorated with pictures of the moments we shared. As Jess stared at it, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace that I’ve never felt before. She looked so beautiful, standing amidst the candlelight. A minute felt like a lifetime as every memory we shared ran through my mind. She probably thought I was nervous, I was, but I really wanted to hold onto that moment as long as I could. A moment when I was once again a penguin looking at “Sandy” thinking to himself “this is someone really special.” I was looking at the woman I would spend the rest of my life with and I knelt.
