We met years before while working at City of Hope together, but we had never really interacted outside of work until we both went to a professional networking mixer and joked around with friends over drinks. Seeing how fun loving and hilarious each other were in a casual setting let us know that we were like minded people. After getting to see each other outside of work that first time, we kept bumping into each other at mutual friends' and acquaintances' events. Although we were both fresh out of long term relationships we eventually took the hint that God was trying to put us together, and decided to explore the world of dating with one another. After about nine months of dating, we moved in together to combine our family under one roof. Marianne brought 2 amazing kids, Anjanette and Gian, and Redmond brought 2 cats, Nacho and Guinness. 2 years of living together was more than enough to know that we wanted it to be forever so we got engaged on a rocky beach in Carlsbad on Marianne's birthday weekend. Now we prepare to strengthen our bond through marriage and we look forward to celebrating our love with you, our friends and family in our favorite place besides home, Hawaii! Mahalo and Aloha.
