Mariann picking Julie as her matron of honor should surprise no one. Glued at the hip, that would be the best description to describe the original power couple, JulieAnn! Julie and Mariann originally met in high school, after Mariann's dad arranged their friendship. They quickly became inseparable (thanks to our high school history fair project!), and were roommates for all four years of college. Despite living in different time zones, they still continue to speak on a daily basis. Mariann is so excited to have her wifey beside her as she becomes a wifey!
John Rickard
Best Man
John and Roy also met in high school. It all started when they were assigned to be partners in Spanish class. They argue about who carried who through the assignment, but they quickly developed a long lasting friendship. John has a variety of interests but he mostly loves to spend time with his family and friends. John is also extremely handy and always is working on a new project at his house. He is the type of a guy that will always be there for you. Roy is so excited to have John beside him on his wedding day!

Lisa is Mariann's little sister and her constant source of entertainment. One of Mariann's earliest memories is her mom telling her she was pregnant with Lisa. She was overjoyed to learn she was getting a baby sister! Lisa has a way of making everyone laugh with her dry sense of humor. She is an incredibly resilient person and has demonstrated strength with every challenge. She loves to spar with Roy over who is Baloo's favorite, but we all know the answer--Mom! Mariann is so excited to have her sissy beside her as she becomes a wifey!
Matthew Jacob
Groomsman
Roy was an only child until the age of 9, and he was so excited to hear he was getting a sibling! Roy's younger brother and might be the only person here who knows more about Star Wars than Roy. Matthew followed in his father's footprints and became a pharmacist, and has worked tirelessly through the pandemic. Matthew likes to cook, play video games, travel, and try new restaurants. Roy is so excited to have Matt beside him on his wedding day!

Janne and Mariann met at the tender age of 8 when Janne moved to Morton Grove. Mariann affectionately calls Janne her oldest friend. Janne and Mariann have been through it all together, from playing together on Warren St., Janne supporting Mariann's brief acting career (aka one commercial), many young fun nights in Champaign and Chicago, Janne's 6th grade photo and picking our wedding China way before they were engaged (and let's be real, dating). Janne has been there from day 1 with wedding planning, and is an integral part of planning this dreamy day! Mariann is so excited to have her wifey beside her as she becomes a wifey!
James Miller
Groomsman
Jim and Roy met at college church group while at Pitt and eventually became roommates in the legendary 306 Atwood St Apartment Jim is a man of many talents including, being a member of Pitt's football team, a man who bakes everything from scratch, a principal, the tailgate dad, and the karaoke master. Jim and the rest of the Miller family was present during the proposal, and it definitely threw Mariann off! Roy is so excited to have Jim beside him on his wedding day!
Jini Kuriakose

Jini can make a brick wall laugh out loud. She and Mariann became friends on AIM way before they ever met in person, and once they met in person, they were fast friends. It's a miracle they are so close, because they are so different, but have a similar love of dogs, adventure and travel. She and Mariann have explored Iceland, Costa Rica, Aruba and dodged hurricanes in Miami. Jini once listened to Mariann roll down an entire hill, and Mariann has taught Jini how to melt butter. Mariann is so excited to have her wifey beside her as she becomes a wifey!
Gregory Coleman

It was the summer of 2000 when Roy met Greg through John. Apparently Greg is a member of the FDNY, but none of us believe it. Greg and Roy spend their Sundays' watching football and arguing whether Don Mattingly deserves to be in the Hall of Fame (sorry Greg he should not be). Another fun fact is Greg decided to spend his first father's day with Roy on a cruise. Roy is so excited to have Greg beside him on his wedding day!

Leah is Mariann's oldest niece. Her birth was one of the happiest days of Mariann's life, there were many tears shed as proof! Leah is witty, passionate and turning into a fashion icon. She is doing amazing things at SLU (yes, Mariann is still sad that she couldn't convince her to become an Illini!). Mariann is so excited to have her niece escort her down the aisle!

Angie is one of Mariann's beautiful nieces, they met when she was 28days old! Angie lives in NJ which was great for Mariann when she was a resident! They love to cuddle together, share fun stories, talk all things fashion. Angie is a talented dancer, great student and everyone's friend--she has the kindest heart. Mariann is so excited to have her niece escort her down the aisle!

Christine is one of Mariann's beautiful nieces. She has a quiet but caring demeanor. She is the oldest of 4 girls and a natural born leader. Mariann loves to cover her in smooches despite her protest. She is a great traditional Indian dancer, wonderful student and overall sweet human. Mariann is so excited to have her niece escort her down the aisle!
Caitlyn Chandy

Caitlyn is one of Mariann's beautiful nieces. She loves to debate, and often leaves Mariann puzzled. They really enjoy their secret conversations, planning the wedding together and planning family dinners together. Caity is a Texas girl, and is learning to make brisket for the rehearsal dinner. Caitlyn might be more excited for the wedding than the bride and the groom--she loves that she has an important role in the wedding, and we love her enthusiasm! Mariann is so excited to have her niece escort her down the aisle!

Joanna is Mariann's twin, meaning they were both born on June 22 (just a few years apart). She is the life of the party and will talk to everyone! We are so excited to have this cutie walk down the aisle with us!

Maya is a hilarious sassy pants. Mariann was so enamored by her, that she flew out the day after she was born to meet her. She has a smile that can light up a room and can capture an audience. We are so excited to have this cutie walk down the aisle with us!

Carolyn is one of Mariann's nieces. She is the baby sister in her house and is clearly the boss of her house. She loves her one on one time with Mariann Aunty and playing games with her sisters. We are so excited to have this cutie walk down the aisle with us!

James is Mariann's Godson and first God child! He has a special place in her heart as the was the first child of the Wifeys! He loves doing push ups with Roy Uncle and Roy loves teaching him about football. He is a soccer superstar, loves watching PJ Masks and is the best big brother to his little sister, Maya. We are so excited to have this cutie walk down the aisle with us!

John is Greg's son. He is a bundle of energy who loves to play and read books. Roy is slowly making him love Star Wars John does love seeing Roy on football Sunday but like Mariann can't wait for the games to be over. We are so excited to have this cutie walk down the aisle with us!

Joe is John's son. Lately he has been trying to learn as much as he can about dinosaurs. He also loves to follow his Dad around help with his projects. Most of all though he loves his family. We are excited to have this cutie walk down the aisle with us!
