Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to arrive an hour before the ceremony, starting at 3:00 P.M. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 P.M. Please allow ample time for parking, hopping on the shuttle and making your way to your seat. Each guest will need to board the shuttle to the ceremony site. Additionally, the property at The Barn at Walnut Grove is beautiful and there are a plethora of lovely sitting areas to enjoy both prior and after the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal/dressy casual. We are getting married among the rolling hills in a beautifully restored historic barn, adorned with fairy lights and rustic features. We are encouraging comfortable dresses for the ladies and slacks and button downs for the fellas. Please refrain from black-tie and also from jeans.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We are asking that all phones and devices be turned off and put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photography duo as well as a videographer to capture the moment for all of us. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as your heart desires!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the lack of need, we will not be using the transportation from the venue. Should guests be staying over night, we will be happy to cover the cost of an uber for everyone’s safety.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be a served buffet. Please share dietary information when rsvp'ing for our wedding.

Will alcohol be available?

Answer

Alcohol will be available for purchase. Guests may use either cash or card.
