Marianna and Justin met in Cambridge, MA, and had their first date at The Sinclair in Harvard Square. It went so well that within a few weeks they were indulging their mutual love of travel with a trip to Maine, and then to California for a drive down the PCH from San Francisco to San Diego. Little did they know that the next year they would move to Los Angeles together, as Justin took a job at Caltech and Marianna started school at USC. Today they share a sunny apartment in Silverlake with their adorable cat Vince. In August 2019, during a trip to visit family in Boston, Justin and Marianna had dinner with Marianna's sister and cousins near Harvard Square. Afterwards, as they strolled through a light drizzle into the Cambridge Common, Justin suddenly dropped to one knee. He asked Marianna to marry him, and she said yes! They continued on to celebrate with friends at The Sinclair.
