The bride and groom first met at Texas A&M’s Impact Camp, a Christian camp for incoming freshmen designed to introduce students to the Christian community in the Bryan–College Station area. Although they were placed in the same group of 50 people, they didn’t have the chance to really talk during camp. That changed shortly after, at Andy’s Frozen Custard. The bride, a little nervous, approached the groom—who was standing alone in line—and struck up a conversation about volleyball. Later that evening, as everyone discussed plans for church the next day, the groom offered to give the bride a ride since she didn’t have a car. On August 24, 2023, after attending the ministry fair, their friend group went to Hurricane Harry’s - a country dancing hall. The two spent most of the night dancing platonically with others, but toward the end of the evening, they finally danced together—laughing, talking, and occasionally stepping on each other’s toes. On September 2, 2023, their Impact Camp group attended the first Texas A&M football game together. Standing side by side, they spent more time talking than watching the game, much to the amusement of their friends, who noticed the growing connection. Afterward, while walking back to the car, a mutual friend suggested they try Aggie Wrangler lessons to learn how to two-step. Without hesitation, they both said yes. In the weeks that followed, the couple regularly attended dance lessons and spent even more time together at Hurricane Harry’s with friends, growing closer with each shared experience.

What began as casual conversations and group outings gradually turned into something more. On December 19, Micah and Marianna enjoyed their first date at two individual frisbee golf courses, as well as a meal shared at Lupe Tortilla. On January 5, 2024, they made the relationship "official" and began dating as Boyfriend and Girlfriend.

These two continued creating lasting memories throughout 2024 and 2025. On December 19, 2025, on the 2nd anniversary of their first date together, Micah had built up the courage to pop the big question. The couple enjoyed a simple picnic date on the bank of Lake Atlas in Bryan, TX. This simple date would soon turn into a successful proposal and one of their most memorable moments. Following the proposal, the bride and groom celebrated their engagement with friends and family alike in a well-surprised engagement party!
