FAQs

The Wedding Website of Marianna Nardecchia and Patrick Ruben Long
Question

How do I get to Orvieto?

Answer

Fly into Rome or Florence. From there, you have two options: Rent a car or book a train to Orvieto Scalo! The journey should take about 1.5 hours.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Refer to the travel page to find our accommodation recommendations, including Pietra Campana, exclusively rented for our friends and family! Please note that we do not have room blocks for the other hotels listed - we just wanted to provide more options for guests.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue (Torre Collevento)?

Answer

We will be providing guests staying in the town with bus transportation to and from the wedding. The pick up/drop off location in town is: Piazza de Ranieri. You will be responsible for getting to/from that location. The bus schedule will be specified later on. If you're staying at Pietra Campana, transportation is a bit more flexible as the venues share a private van and it's a quick drive. Parking is available on site if you rented a car and choose to drive.

Question

How do I get to the welcome party (Pietra Campana)?

Answer

If you're staying at Pietra Campana... good news, you're already there! We will providing guests in town with mini-bus transportation for this event. Still working out the details for the pickup location and time... stay tuned! Parking is available on site if you rented a car and choose to drive.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We've decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can make arrangements for your little ones so you can fully enjoy the evening with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, only those named on the RSVP are invited. Additional guests cannot be accommodated.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have fantastic photographers capturing every moment of the ceremony, so please refrain from taking any pictures during that time. Feel free to snap away during the rest of the celebration!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress formally but prioritize your comfort with lightweight and breathable options! Our wedding events will take place entirely outdoors. In July, Orvieto experiences warm and sunny weather, with highs around 86F/30C and lows around 61F/16C. No white dresses. No cargo shorts. Look fly.

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is more than enough! If you'd like to give something extra, we'd appreciate a cash contribution toward our future home or a gift from our registry.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by April 5th if you will be able to join us for BOTH the Welcome Party and Wedding Event. If we haven't received your response by then, we'll unfortunately have to assume you can't attend.

Question

Who to contact if I have more questions?

Answer

Our Italian wedding planner, Silvia, is an absolute gem and would be happy to answer any further questions you may have! She is available by email at silvia@sbweddingsandevents.com.
