Who knew that walking around Costco with our respective parents would change our lives forever. The girl who once offered a bag of chocolate chips to my mom, to make some "healthy cookies," soon became the Facebook friend I could not stop messaging. After more than a couple of canceled dates, I decided to tell her that I would, "pick her up in half an hour without question, we would grab a coffee, and then I would drop her back off at her house." Little did we both imagine that Starbucks would close on us, and our story would begin. - Jesus It was a Sunday afternoon while walking down the aisles of Costco with my mom when we bumped into Claudia and her family. We decided to catch up with her, and Claudia finally introduced her son to me after many years of seeing pictures of him. Jesus, standing on the other side of the cart said nothing but smiled the whole time. A couple minutes later, I found myself walking up to his family with a bag of chocolate chips and instantly regretting it and turning red and running back to my mom - since I probably looked silly! After months of not talking, I received a funny message from Claudia's son on Facebook, not knowing that this boy would soon change my life. After a month of talking over Facebook, and (me) canceling many dates, he finally decided to show up at my house to take me out for a cup of coffee. Suddenly, a casual talk over coffee turned into a conversation of more than five years and counting... - Marianna
