We're getting married!

Our first date consisted of dinner at Chili's where Mariane was too nervous to eat (shocking), Mariane's overall victory in a round of bowling, and drinks at a dive bar. We instantly connected and couldn't wait to plan the second date.

We were celebrating a belated Valentine's Day dinner in Asbury Park, NJ. Valentine's Day has always been a special day for us. Jeff plans everything and always wants to surprise me. He planned for us to watch the sun go down at Sunset Lake before dinner. We parked the car and walked to Sunset Lake Memorial Park. When we got there I turned away from him to look out onto the lake and when I turned back to him, he was down on one knee asking if I would spend the rest of my life with him. I was so surprised that I shouted "holy shit!" and immediately started to to cry which Jeff was prepared for since he had tissues in his pocket. It was the easiest "yes" I ever made. Later that night, we celebrated with our parents.
