There are direct flights from most major cities to Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport). How to reach the city center (i.e. Syntagma): By Metro (blue line): approx. 40min, EUR 6 - By Taxi: approx. 35min, EUR 38-40 (Athens suburbs cost may vary/night time costs). We recommend downloading the FreeNow (similar to Uber) or Uber app which provide you with an estimate of the final cost prior to embarking on your journey and is credit card friendly :-). - By Bus: There will be shuttle buses arranged from the airport to your hotel - please let us know whether you need transport & your accommodation details. Travel within Athens: Around the city center and main highlights there is an efficient metro system - check out our 'Things to do' section for some ideas!
