Medellin is called the City of Eternal Spring for good reason! Situated at almost 5,000 ft above sea level, the city's weather sways between 65 and 85 degrees F throughout the day. Light rain is common and the weather day-to-day can be unpredictable. We recommend avoiding shorts/flip-flops if you don't want to stand out.
Although Medellin is generally safe, PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS. We HIGHLY encourage you to not wear flashy watches/jewelry out, specially if you're walking around - and not being on your phone while on the street.
