Things To Do

Wine tasting in Los Alamos

If you are looking to wine taste in town we have a few favorites to recommend - Tribute to Grace has excellent grenache options, Bedford Winery is a long time family favorite, and Clementine Carter has a lovely outdoor patio with a great selection of wines and beers. All are on or just off the main drag in town.

Breakfast or lunch in Los Alamos

If you are looking for somewhere to grab breakfast or lunch right in town we recommend either Bob's Well Bread or Plenty on Bell. If you plan to venture farther afield we are happy to assist with additional recommendations as well, just reach out.

Dinner in Los Alamos

If you are arriving early and looking for somewhere in town to grab dinner on Friday night we recommend Pico (higher end, takes reservations) or Full of Life Flatbread (casual woodfired pizza, does not take reservations).

Scenic Drives

There are many beautiful scenic drives in the area. Some of our favorites include Foxen Canyon, Ballard Canyon, and Figueroa Mountain. Feel free to reach out if you would like directions.

Oso Flaco Lake

3098 Oso Flaco Lake Road, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420

This is a bit of a drive, about a half hour out of town, but is one of our favorite places for a walk, great bird watching, and a beautiful beach.

La Purísima Mission State Historic Park

2295 Purisima Road, Lompoc, CA 93436

This historic California mission is fun for a visit and has many nice trails to explore as well.
