Welcome Event for Friends & Family

Dress for outdoor fun!

Follow signs for the Emel House. The Emel House is part of the Washington State Parks system. When you arrive, please let the ranger know at the check in station that you are here for our event, and they will give you a placard to display in your car. Carpooling is strongly encouraged, as parking is limited. We've reserved the large grassy area for lawn games, and there's also access to the beach. Guests may want to bring their own beach chairs/towels/sunblock. Casual lunch, barbecue dinner (including vegetarian options), and beverages will be provided. If you have little ones, be prepared for them to get wet and sandy!

Wedding and Reception

4:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Summer "classy casual" attire suggested.

The wedding will be outdoors, with a reception to follow in the open-air tent and gazebo area. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, so plan to arrive a little early to have time to park, and be seated. After the ceremony, we will enjoy a "happy hour" and appetizers at the tent and gazebo area, prior to the start of our buffet dinner. Vegetarian options will be available. Toasts, desserts, and dancing to follow.
