The Hoover Dam is a historic engineering landmark located about 30 miles from Las Vegas. Completed in 1936, the dam holds back the Colorado River to form Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States. Visitors can walk across the dam, take guided tours, and enjoy incredible views of the surrounding canyon and lake. Recommended to take the private tour if you have an extra afternoon in Vegas!
The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a must see Las Vegas experience. This stunning indoor garden features seasonal displays made with thousands of fresh flowers, intricate designs, and larger than life installations. Each visit feels brand new, and best of all it is free to enjoy. A perfect stop for a peaceful break or date night while taking in the beauty and creativity Vegas is known for!
Take in the beautiful scenery of some of Nevada’s most iconic landmarks at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The stunning landscapes showcase rich red mountains and desert terrain, making it a perfect place to hike, explore, and step away from the city for a few hours. If you are able to plan ahead, we definitely recommend making an early reservation with the park.
One of our favorite spots for a day date. It has everything in one place with great restaurants, a park, tons of shopping, plus a movie theater and arcade. There is always something fun to do, and it is such a nice area to walk around and spend a few hours together.
Our favorite outlet mall to shop at. It has so many of our go to stores like On, Nike, ALO, and Lululemon, plus plenty of dining options to choose from. It is also conveniently located away from the Strip, which makes the whole experience much more relaxed and enjoyable.
A really insightful museum that highlights Nevada and Las Vegas history during the atomic and nuclear age. It is very informative while still being engaging, making it a fun and educational way to spend an afternoon.
