In the summer of 2013 our mutual friends Cameron and Kara introduced us. Robert tried so hard to impress Mariana, he passed out, hit a wall, and got a black eye after flexing his impressive muscles at her. This is a true story. It was love at first flex.

A little over a year after Mariana's first one day attempt to summit Mt. Whitney Robert and Mariana were given an opportunity to climb again. This time with an overnight stay the couple was able to complete the 22 mile trek. Robert knew how much summiting this mountain meant to Mariana and decided it would be the perfect setting to ask her to spend the rest of their lives together. There standing at 14,505 ft the tallest mountain peak in the continental United states Robert got down on one knee. We met in the mountains, and fell in love in the mountains, it was only fitting that we got engaged at the top of a mountain. We can't wait to start this next chapter of lives surrounded by you all where we feel most at home.
