Our story together started a little later than it was originally supposed to. Our dear friends Audrey and Kyle finally had plans to introduce us at their November 2021 wedding after it was originally postponed in March 2020 due to COVID. We finally met at Kyle and Audrey's wedding in November 2021. One month later we were in New York City spending a weekend together, enjoining the city at Christmas time. We both knew pretty quickly that there was something great brewing. Over the course of the next five months we enjoyed visiting each other and meeting each others friends and families across the country. After Mariana graduated from NP school we both moved to North Carolina, then back to Mariana’s home state of Wisconsin, followed by time in Florida. We are now thrilled to call North Carolina home! - John

John & Mariana had plans to visit one of their favorite taco trucks in Tampa and watch the sunset at Cypress Point Park. After the sun went down John & Mariana had the beach to themselves. John popped the question in the afterglow of the sunset. John & Mariana were so joyful with happy tears and thankful for all that God had done in their lives. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Lake Geneva! -Mariana
