Stockade
This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the Capital Region. We enjoy walking around and stopping at Arthur's Market to grab some food and a refreshing drink in the summer, or a hot drink during the colder months.
Central Troy Historic District
Did you know Troy is a favorite for filmmakers? As you explore, you might just recognize a few cinematic spots! Walk into the charm of Troy, NY! Stroll along the riverfront or wander through the historic streets lined with beautiful architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries. Take a break at a cozy coffee shop or explore the local bookstore (Market Block Bookstore is one of our favorites).
New York State Capitol
Discover the historic New York State Capitol, the seat of government since the 1880s. Admire its stunning 19th-century architecture. Great for a few pictures! Tours are available Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m., noon, and 2:00 p.m.

Great trails for short to long hikes. Very close to Albany-Troy-Schenectady area. This is where we got engaged!
