Cameron and I met in high school in The Woodlands, Texas all the way back in November of 2012! We officially started dating August 24, 2013. Throughout our years in high school we made some of the most incredible memories. From going to homecomings and proms together to making our annual visits to California, all the way to our High School graduation in 2015. From then on we proceeded to date long distance (Cameron at Clemson and myself in Alabama) throughout college which brought us so many incredible memories. Although it was not always easy, each moment of long distance was certainly worth it!

Cameron and I moved to Greenville, SC in the Summer of 2020 as Cameron was attending Medical School at USC School of Medicine Greenville. Although I knew the time was not far away- I always thought I would be able to tell when Cameron was going to pop the question. Funny enough- on the Monday of that week we realized we had forgotten to celebrate our Anniversary. We celebrated by Cam bringing over lunch to my apartment while I worked from home. That weekend we made plans to get dinner on Friday and attend a sunrise sermon in the mountains, followed by a hike. Our Friday dinner went just like all the rest. Then came Saturday... We began our drive up the Blue Ridge Mountains at 5/6am to attend what I believed was a sunrise sermon. As we arrived Cameron parked outside the chapel however it appeared that no one was there yet. I thought- oh no we looked at the schedule wrong and this sermon isn't actually today. I even asked cam "Umm should we go look for the priest?" After a couple of minutes of waiting we stepped out of the car. As we approached the chapel, Cameron squeezed my hand extra tight and in that moment, I knew what was about to happen. As we approached the Chapel nestled in the mountains, I was greeted by a trail of rose petals leading to a beautiful cross and an outstanding view of the mountains. Cameron kneeled down and it was the easiest YES of my life! The day proceeded with all of our closest family and friends celebrating in town. It was hands down the best weekend of our lives!
