The Houston Rodeo
The Houston Rodeo is a staple, we highly recommend going! We are going on Thursday night, March 13th, let us know if you would like to join! For those joining us at the rodeo: Getting there - We recommend taking the red METROrail line from downtown or midtown to the stadium park/astrodome stop. These parking garages are walking distance to the metrorail stops - 2521 Travis St (nearest stop: McGowen), 1515 Travis St (nearest stop: Bell), 870 Clay St (nearest stop: Bell), 940 Clay St (nearest stop: Bell). If you prefer to drive or rideshare please look at the rodeo website for more information https://www.rodeohouston.com/plan-your-visit/parking-transportation/ Arrival - The rodeo starts at 6:45pm and the concert (Jon Pardi) begins at 9pm. We recommend you arrive early to enjoy some of the other fairground activities (delicious food, carnival, livestock shows, beer/wine gardens, etc.). Vintage Park is near the hotels in our block and our wedding venue. There are lots of shops and restaurants and it’s a cute area to walk around.
